The Silver Linings of 2020

2020 was hard. We struggled through it with our families, our work teams, and as a society in general. What will pull us through will be our empathy and compassion for each other. We’ve decided to list out a few things we are thankful for as we look to a brighter 2021:

The Metropolis Family Grew Tighter

We are excited to announce that Matt and Lizzy got married October 10th, at the Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA! On this unseasonably warm day, they were able to have a beautiful and safe event outdoors, surrounded by their close friends and family. Matt and Lizzy celebrated their marriage on a honeymoon to Zion National Park.

New Adventures

Johnny is now practicing his social distancing in the garage and on his new (old) bike. When he’s not tinkering, you can find him zipping along the more rural roads on the outskirts of Boston. When it comes to stepping away from the screens and relieving stress, there’s nothing quite like hopping on a vintage motorcycle.

Fuzzy Helpers

Mike adopted two pandemic kitties from a local shelter. Then his daughter came home from college with her two kittens. They now have a daily obstacle course of cat toys and kittens chasing kittens. But they’re little angels when they fall asleep on your laptop, under the covers, or even on the dining room table.

We’re thinking about you and your family — focusing on what’s important. Metropolis has been working hard for more than twenty years now, and giving back has always been important to us. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do for you — especially if you’re a nonprofit or a company that’s making a difference for others. And if you need to borrow a cat anytime — we have plenty now.
