A brand with a story.
YORK Athletics Mfg. is a training footwear brand that is blazing a new trail in the wellness space by promoting both mental and physical health. They value individuality, creativity and a fighting spirit. YORK Athletics has built a high quality and intentionally understated line of lightweight performance trainers and accessories.
We worked to strike the perfect balance between selling merchandise and offering branded editorial content and imagery. This e-commerce site allows users to browse and purchase items easily on any screen size. Custom designed and built on the Shopify platform, including functionality like an AJAX cart panel, search-by-size, and an intuitive size selection UI.

Unique product UI to facilitate donations to COVID-19 frontline workers
Stepping up to the plate, YORK created a buy one/get one offer that donated a pair of shoes to a frontline worker of your choice. We created a unique product UI to accept several user input data fields and simplify the logistics of managing this campaign for YORK.
Custom designed on the Shopify eCommerce platform
The YORK theme takes advantage of Shopify core and third-party app functionality, such as content-managed pages and products, Klaviyo and Yotpo integration, and automated discounts. Some challenging interfaces built on this site include custom size selectors, conditional logic that can capture emails for out of stock items, and a unique blog design.
York’s website supports and enhances their digital marketing campaigns
The home page can support different campaigns through the use of unique campaign-based query strings in the URL. Landing page templates support their various marketing campaigns, and a robust email capture system helps York grow their marketing database in Klaviyo.
The Results
Business doesn’t grow on it’s own. York’s constant marketing campaigns integrate with the site to help grow their audience, partnerships, brand, and of course sales.
