The main purpose for this website is to collect online donations to support the Arlington libraries. This is done through careful storytelling that evokes an emotional response. The site uses beautiful images and interesting design elements to lead the user to the Donate page. The website is easily maintained by the Arlington Libraries Foundation in the WordPress CMS.
Thanks for getting us up and running. I realize that this is your daily work and all very routine, but for us this is a very big deal and you made it easy for us.
Simple Ways to Give
With donations being the main call-to-action, we made sure the button was prominent and visible on every page of the site. The donation page uses an embedded form from a third party site called Little Green Light. Payment processing is securely handled by LGL on their own servers.
Showcasing Their History
A custom timeline was designed to allow Arlington Libraries Foundation to add historical blocks. Special effort was made to ensure this layout worked on smaller screens, down to mobile size.
The Results
Arlington Libraries Foundation has a very credible-looking website now. Every message and tool points the user down a path to donate to the foundation. The donation process is easy and secure.
