I haven’t been this excited about a car’s design since the introduction of the 2000 Nissan Xterra, in yellow. I don’t know why the Nissan struck me. Perhaps that it looked different from the other SUVs at the time. Or maybe it was the bold, sporty yellow and black.
Since then, most new cars just looked “nice” to me, until the 2010 Dodge Challenger came out. Admittedly, I love the muscle car era. I have a ’71 Mustang Mach 1 in the garage begging for restoration. (This is what it would look like if it were restored.) So it says a lot for this Ford guy to fall in love with a Dodge.
The narrow front grille and high back makes this car look sleek and mean, elegant and tough. And I really love the plain silver – no stripes. (See the limited edition Fuscha model here.) Combine that with the fact that you can get this car with an optional 6.1-liter SRT
