who we are:

Michael Flint: owner, principal
Michael founded Metropolis creative in 1999. Prior to that, he was Senior Graphic Designer for 4 years at Sullivan Creative in Newton. Michael has taught print and Web-related design courses at Northeastern University and Bentley College. Speaking engagements include The Boston Chamber of Commerce and the Mass Health Data Consortium. Michael holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and has won numerous design awards. When not at work, Michael enjoys sketching, brewing beer, and gardening.

Lauren Reccia: senior designer
Lauren came from PUMA where she was a graphic designer and brand marketing manager for 4 years. Previous to that she was head pastry chef at Sally Ann Food Shop in Concord, MA and also did web design work for Atomic Pink Web Development and product illustration for Enseng LTD. She holds a BFA in Studio Art - Visual Communication from the University of Arizona. Lauren also owns her own freelance design company called M-80 Design. Outside of Metropolis, she plays drums in an Allston, MA-based punk rock band called Vagiant, who have songs featured on Guitar Hero II and Rock Band I. She also enjoys working out, riding bikes, camping, reading, cooking, and jumping on and climbing things.

Jake Rainis: graphic designer
Jake joined Metropolis in June 2008 through the Northeastern University co-op program. He is also one of the head designers for a small urban clothing company called The Collective. When he is not designing, he is producing hip hop music or throwing darts.

Michael Weinstein: graphic designer
Michael is a co-op student from Northeastern University, majoring in Graphic Design. Previously he has worked for a Boston-based publishing company, managed media labs at Northeastern University, and designed newsletters for Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide. Michael recently spent a semester in Australia and hopes to continue travelling. In his free time he enjoys drawing, watching movies, and playing basketball.

Metropolis Creative is a graphic design firm located in Boston's South End that specializes in web and print design, branding and integrated marketing. We have a decade's worth of experience designing for clients in a wide range of industries; from tech and telecommunications to retail and nonprofit, in a wide range of styles.

We build close relationships with our clients and work cooperatively with them to create marketing pieces that best reach their target audiences.

Since opening its doors in 1999, Metropolis has worked with Emerson College, the World Society for the Protection of Animals, Intuit, Equity Office, Holly Cleaners and The Medical Foundation.
